New macro data showed that Swedish industrial production and household consumption increased on an annual basis in March.
Euro Stoxx 50 futures are down 0.66 percent, FTSE 100 futures are retreating 0.75 percent, and DAX futures are falling 0.74 percent.
The reporting season has been somewhat quieter on Friday morning. Figures were released by real estate company Balder, among others, which showed lower profit from property management now that Norion Bank is no longer included in the results from associated companies.
Furthermore, the optical retail chain Synsam reported revenue in line with market expectations. Ebitda was higher than expected, reaching 400 million SEK.
Industrial technology company Karnell's organic growth amounted to 13.1 percent in Q1. Ebitda increased by nearly 50 percent to 87.4 million SEK.
Diamond mining company Lucara Diamond's revenue fell in Q1. The company reiterated its full-year outlook, meaning revenue is still expected to be between 100 and 130 million USD.
Home improvement chain Clas Ohlson released sales figures for April. Sales increased organically by 9 percent to 929 million SEK.
Research company Bioarctic announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has extended the review of Leqembi Ivliq as a maintenance dose for the treatment of early Alzheimer's disease. The new PDUFA date is August 24, compared to the previous target for a decision in May.
Analysts were quieter than usual during the morning, with few rating changes communicated. Inderes took the opportunity to upgrade Stora Enso to 'accumulate' from 'reduce'. A minor reduction in the target price to 10.50 EUR (11) took place.
