FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - The German stock market opened the new trading week with little change. In the first minutes of trading, the DAX slipped by 0.05 percent to 24,889 points, after having lost about one and a half percent in the previous week. The MDAX of mid-cap stocks rose 0.07 percent in the morning to 31,769 points. The Eurozone's leading index, the EuroStoxx 50, remained flat.

On Monday, investors are expected to focus on the Ifo Business Climate Index as well as further economic data from the United States. Otherwise, the week will be dominated by the ongoing corporate earnings season. Deutsche Bank and SAP will be the first two DAX members to present their financial results. In the US, results are expected from Microsoft, Tesla, and Apple, among others. In addition, the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision is scheduled for Wednesday evening./edh/jha/
