(Alliance News) - Ferrari NV announced on Wednesday that it repurchased 63,002 of its own ordinary shares between May 26 and May 28 on the Italian stock exchange.
The shares were acquired at an average unit price of EUR286.0428, for a total consideration of nearly EUR18 million.
During the same period, the Maranello-based carmaker repurchased 27,237 of its own ordinary shares on the New York Stock Exchange. The US-listed shares were bought at an average unit price of USD330.4168, for a total value of nearly USD9 million, equivalent to approximately EUR7.7 million.
As of June 2, the company held 17.8 million treasury shares, net of shares assigned under the company's equity incentive plan, representing approximately 9.2% of the total issued ordinary share capital.
Ferrari shares are currently trading down 2.1% at EUR298.30 per share.
