Together, the three partners aim to create a model unprecedented in Europe, combining scientific excellence, artificial intelligence, exploration, and mining expertise to accelerate the identification of new critical metal resources.

Faced with rising global demand for critical metals and a context where world-class deposits are becoming increasingly scarce, the Eramet Group is betting on technological innovation, scientific excellence, and cooperation within the French mining ecosystem to identify new high-potential deposits.

Through this framework partnership agreement, the three groups plan to combine recent and historical geological data, the predictive capabilities of artificial intelligence, and the field expertise of their geological teams.

In detail, the partnership is structured as follows:

- Eramet will manage the operational conduct of exploration programs, opportunity assessment, and project development in line with its growth strategy;

- BRGM will provide its benchmark expertise in geosciences and its wealth of geological data;

- Lithosquare will deploy its proprietary geological artificial intelligence technology and its teams specialized in exploration data analysis and modeling.

This partnership follows an initial exploration program during which Eramet and Lithosquare confirmed the effectiveness of their approach and cooperation.

The partnership will initially be deployed across various regions in Africa showing significant mining exploration potential. Lessons learned from this first phase may subsequently lead to the progressive extension of the framework to other continents.
