Shares of energy companies rallied amid mounting fears in the Middle East and a U.S. retreat from emissions regulations.
Oil futures rose 1% to $64.43 a barrel after President Trump threatened to send another aircraft carrier to the Middle East to prepare for military action if negotiations failed, ratcheting up the pressure on Iran.
