EFN Finansmagasinet has conducted a fresh analysis of ten Swedish investment companies.

"Investment companies that have historically delivered higher returns than the stock market at a discounted valuation are an excellent choice for a portfolio. There are many companies to choose from on the exchange, but only a few meet those criteria," EFN writes.

"We see several investment companies worth buying in this year's review and one clear candidate to sell. Following significant movements during the year, we see good opportunities for some bottom fishing," EFN writes. The sell recommendation applies to Öresund.

EFN's recommendations are as follows:

* Lundbergs: EFN finds it difficult to see this stock becoming a poor purchase
* Investor: The market's best investment company across all categories is rarely a bad buy
* Latour: When the stock trades without a premium to net asset value, it is time to give Latour a chance again
* Spiltan: A discount to net asset value higher than 15 percent on the stock is not justified
* Bure: The highly valued Mycronic accounts for more than half of the portfolio: EFN is not attracted to Bure
* Creades: EFN issues a buy recommendation
* Svolder: EFN prefers the stock over a small-cap fund
* Industrivärden: EFN sees no major reason to buy the stock
* Kinnevik: The stock is worth a gamble, EFN assesses
* Öresund: A simple conclusion: buy the holdings you want to own separately and sell Öresund
