(Alliance News) - DiaSorin Spa announced on Friday that it purchased 331,134 of its own ordinary shares between May 4 and May 8.

The shares were acquired at an average unit price of EUR61.79, for a total consideration of EUR20.5 million.

To date, the company holds 6.1 million treasury shares, representing 11.0% of its share capital.

DiaSorin's stock closed Friday down 1.6% at EUR63.20 per share.
