Alarm company Verisure has announced that Cecilia Beck-Friis has been appointed as a new non-executive member of the board of directors with immediate effect, while the company also intends to appoint Sam Kini to the board in the near future.

Both are considered independent in relation to the company, management, and major shareholders, and have the support of the nomination committee.

Cecilia Beck-Friis has a background as a Swedish business leader with experience in media, technology, and digital transformation. Until recently, she served as CEO of Hemnet for more than seven years. Sam Kini is Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Unilever.

In connection with these board changes, Patrick Healy, CEO of Hellman & Friedman, stepped down from the board as of February 3, 2026.
