Castrol India has announced the appointment of Mayank Pandey as Vice-President & Head - B2C Sales, a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) position, effective January 1, 2026, following a board resolution passed on November 14, 2025. Pandey brings over 25 years of experience across the oil & gas, lubricants, consulting, paints, and engineering sectors. Having joined bp/Castrol in 2007, he has held several senior leadership roles over 18 years, steering business teams and transformation programs across India, China, Japan, Korea and Europe. He currently serves as Vice-President at bp's Customers & Products (C&P) Business & Technology Centre. Prior to this, he was Whole-Time Director and Vice-President & Head - Supply Chain at Castrol India Limited from August 2021 to July 2024. As a member of the Castrol India Board and leadership team, he strengthened supply chain competitiveness, accelerated digital transformation, and delivered business growth. Under his leadership, the supply chain organisation earned recognition for its focus on safety,
reliability, and performance. Mayank joined bp/Castrol in 2007 and has since held multiple senior leadership roles over 18 years, leading business teams and transformation programmes across India, China, Japan, Korea, and Europe. His experience reflects a strong track record of operating in diverse markets and cultures. Before bp/Castrol, he worked with Tata Strategic Management Group, Asian Paints, and Larsen & Toubro, building expertise in business strategy, operations, and organisational development. Mayank holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute and an MBA from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research.
