Booking Holdings has appointed Brigit Zimmerman as chief executive officer of the online travel company's Priceline unit, effective Jan. 1.
She would succeed Brett Keller, who is expected to continue as special advisor to the CEO until May 1, Booking Holdings said Wednesday.
Zimmerman, Priceline's chief commercial officer, joined the company in 2013. She has worked in several roles including as senior vice president of hotels, flights and packages. She previously worked at United Airlines.
Keller has been Priceline's CEO since 2016, and worked at the company for 26 years in total.
