Barclays PLC (LSE:BARC) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to £500 million worth of its shares. The purpose of the Buy-back is to reduce the share capital of the Company and therefore Ordinary Shares purchased will be cancelled .The program will end no later than October 24, 2026.
