Adani Energy Solutions Limited announced that in this regard, it may be noted that Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are being developed under the Adani Group's integrated utility platform, which includes Adani Green Energy Limited ("AGEL"), Adani Energy Solutions Limited ("AESL") and Adani Power Limited ("APL"). To the company knowledge, currently, AGEL will implement Adani's first BESS project, with a capacity of 1,126 MW /3,530 MWh. As such, at this stage, there is no event which triggers any disclosure requirements for the Company, under the applicable regulations.
Given the integration with transmission and distribution assets, and the transformative potential of BESS for the grid and power sector, the Adani Group, in the future, will evaluate opportunities for the Company and APL to contribute their expertise and add value to this initiative as part of AGEL's 50 GW renewable energy roadmap by 2030. The role of the above-mentioned companies will be detailed in the necessary disclosures made by the respective entities for future BESS projects, as and when the same becomes the disclosable event under the applicable regulations. The company reiterate that it has made and will continue to make disclosures, as required under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended from time to time.
