Accenture is acquiring Rangr Data, a partner of Palantir, as the IT and management consultancy looks to expand its engineering capabilities for operations-heavy clients.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition comes in response to rising interest in scaled transformation using artificial intelligence, Accenture's head of global Palantir capability Bryan Rich said Thursday.
Rangr, which has expertise using Palantir Foundry for supply chain management, enterprise system integration, and real-time analytics, would accelerate growth in Accenture's Palantir business, Rich said.
"Rangr expands our footprint in the market, enabling us to address growing client demand for AI-powered transformation," he said.
The purchase is part of a broader acquisition strategy to boost AI capabilities, Accenture said. The company recently acquired Decho, another Palantir partner, NeuraFlash, which specializes in solutions for SalesForce, and the AI firm Halfspace.
