Solar energy company Absolicon has been informed that the RISE research institute is considering legal action regarding an agreement for the transfer of an invention in anti-reflective coatings for solar collector glass. RISE has filed a claim for compensation amounting to 500,000 SEK for the period 2024–2025.

The dispute concerns the interpretation of a research collaboration agreement dating back to 2020. Absolicon disputes the claim, maintaining that the joint research and development projects carried out fulfill the purpose of the agreement. Dialogue between the parties remains ongoing.
