Abbott India Limited announced that Ms. Anisha Motwani, Independent Director, will be completing her second term as an Independent Director of the Company on April 24, 2026. Accordingly, she ceased to be the Director of the Company with effect from the close of business hours on April 24, 2026. The company announced that Ms. Alison Davies tendered her resignation as Director of the Company, with effect from close of business hours of April 22, 2026, on account of other professional commitments.
The company announced that Mr. Tushar Singh, Plant Director - Goa, has been assigned to another affiliate of Abbott with effect from June 1, 2026. He will serve his role as Plant Director - Goa with Abbott India Limited until May 31, 2026. Pursuant to the above, he will also cease to be the Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from May 31, 2026.
The company announced the appointment of Mr. Amol Metkar as Plant Director - Goa with effect from June 1, 2026. Mr. Amol Metkar joined Abbott in 2017 as Manager Production at EPD Goa site. Since joining Abbott, he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility and impact.
Prior to his current assignment, he served as Head of Production Hormones at Baddi and Senior Manager Production at Goa manufacturing site. In these roles, he played a pivotal part in driving Lean Six Sigma based productivity improvements, enhancing asset utilization, strengthening quality systems, and delivering sustained operational excellence. Mr. Metkar currently serves as Associate Director Production at Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) in Baddi, where he leads the Oral Dosage Forms (ODF) manufacturing operations across tablets, capsules, and liquids.
Prior to joining Abbott, Mr. Metkar worked at Lupin, Sanofi, Cipla, and Ranbaxy. Mr. Metkar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Technology from Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, and certifications including Future Leader Development Program, In-Stride Leadership Program, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt & Green Belt (Exemplar Global), and BOHS-UK certifications in occupational hygiene and hazardous substance control.
