Prior to joining Gemspring, Matt was part of Vista Consulting Group, the operating arm of Vista Equity Partners.

In addition, Matt served as an operating executive within Vista’s portfolio, most notably as a Vice President at Fusion Risk Management, a business continuity SaaS business.
Prior to Vista, Matt was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he led large scale commercial transformations for McKinsey’s clients.
Prior to McKinsey, Matt served in several direct sales roles, primarily in the medical device industry.
Matt also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
In the Marines, Matt served as an Amphibious Assault Officer, and led teams ranging from 40-200 Marines.
Matt serves on the boards of Cforia, Sigga and OPEXUS.
Matt received a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
