Gerald W. Schwartz founded ONEX Corp. and CanWest Global Communications Corp. Mr. Schwartz occupies the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for ONEX Corp. and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Onex Partners (a subsidiary of ONEX Corp.). Mr. Schwartz is also on the board of Indigo Books & Music, Inc., Simon Wiesenthal Center, Inc. (former Director) and Sinai Health System (Canada) and Principal at Trilogy Retail Enterprises LP. In the past Mr. Schwartz was President for CanWest Global Communications Corp. and Principal at CanWest Capital Corp. Gerald W. Schwartz received a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba, an MBA from Harvard Business School, a graduate degree from St. Francis Xavier University, a doctorate from Tel-Aviv University and a graduate degree from the University of Toronto.
