Chaney has been Chairman of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Inc. since May 1995.
Prior to joining Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vedax Sciences Corp.
until March 1998.
Previously, Dr. Chaney was a Guest Lecturer on Customer Service at the University of California, Los Angeles, Loyola University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Colorado Business Schools.
He was a Director of Rusty Pelican Seafood, Inc. Dr. Chaney received a Bachelor's degree in 1959, a Master's degree in 1960, and a PhD in 1962 in Managerial Psychology from Purdue University.
